You forgot janitor and cafeteria lady. Both get to sit before the med student as well.(The purse was absolutely classic.)
As a nursing student, I'd say that we probably come AFTER med students if it makes you feel any better!
I made the grave mistake on radiology of not noticing when another resident walked in the room, once. I thought I was finally being addressed, as a person in the room, but they just kicked me out of my chair and proceeded to ignore me for the rest of the morning.
The corollary: If there are x number of people on the team rounding, there will be x-1 chairs in the room.Med student loses.
Hannah -- I can assure you that to the medical team, the nursing student would be above the medical student.
poor medical student and ha ha at the intern sleeping.. so true. check out my blog and follow pretty please..
Why I finally broke down and bought the Danskos. P.S. the only thing worse than having nowhere to sit is when the attending makes you sit on the exam table towering over everyone in the room. (Thanks, but I think I'll cower in the corner over here where you just might forget I exist and therefore, just maybe to pimp me....)
And to think that after leaving elementary school I would never get to play musical chairs ever again!
The purse! Oh, the purse. Ha!
i just love this!
hehehe its so funny
As a now retired nurse who has worked in teaching hospitals, this is classic teaching hospital hierarcy and the non-status of the medcial student.
ha! i just got promoted one seat :)
