The two foods I often crave then often regret are:
1) KFC
2) Giordano's pizza
KFC always seems so appealing to me in theory and it tastes good when I'm eating it, but afterward, I feel so ill that I can go without it for months.
Giordano's stuffed pizza is one of my husband's favorites and I admit it tastes really good, but I just can't consume a pizza stuffed with cheese without wanting to throw up.
For me, it's Gino's Pizza (a chain in the area that specializes in cheap as hell pizza, perfect for soaking up booze at 3 am; also great for making the morning that much worse)
ReplyDeleteI miss Giordano's deep dish pizza so much!! This is the second time this week I've thought about it. I've found that the collateral damage is usually controllable if I limit myself to two slices. After that all bets are off.
ReplyDeleteI've never gotten into KFC... but I do admit to a love of McDonalds. I love the quarter pounders with cheese. And now they have DOUBLE quarter pounders! Delicious.
I like Popeye's, which is very similar to KFC. My other guilty pleasure is McDonalds too. I love the fries, the chicken nuggets and the $1 McChicken sandwich (not all at once though).
ReplyDeleteOMDG: McDonald's is a guilty pleasure, but I don't generally feel sick after eating it because I can somehow restrain myself to getting small portions.
ReplyDeleteMingle: What about the Southern style chicken sandwich at McD's? That's is amazing. Really reminds me of chick-fil-a.
Let's see...do you happen to be forty, fertile, and flatulent? (I won't ask about weight)
ReplyDeleteLong John Silvers does it for me. About every six months I get the LJS craving and then remember afterwards why I don't eat there more often. Yuck!
