Transcription errors

Take a guess what this transcription error was supposed to be:

"DVT prophylaxis is to be done with Betadine."

By the way, we don't use any sort of automated transcription program. The transcriptions are done by human beings. Who apparently have very little medical knowledge.

    1. Nope I take that back. I was thinking in the context of what time of day she should get her DVT ppx. Venodyne sounds legit.

  4. Much of the "transcription" done these days is actually a speech recognition product that is edited off shore (India) by people whose first language is not English.
