  1. HA!

Fizzy, it is so hard for me to leave comments here - not sure why. I write long tomes that get lost in the ethersphere.

  2. Of course, today when I write brief, no problemo.

  3. I disagree. If you go pick up ordered out food, you will not piss off your Ob/Gyn resident (but you will probably miss any delivery that you may have been waiting to do). So there. :P

  4. Dr. Whoo, I didn't get to do deliveries REGARDLESS of whether I picked up food. The only good thing about doing that scut was that I got to be off the labor floor for 15 minutes. What a toxic environment!

  5. Granted, I could have drawn a pic of med students buying food or providing foot massages, but it's so much easier to just draw an empty box :)

  6. LOL! Although I recently picked an ob/gyn and her practice based on the fact that when she was a resident and I was a med student, she was the only one that *talked* to me. The practice that she joined was also fantastic with students. There were a couple of other reasons but that was the biggie. That and she's a young female physician with kids.

  7. LOL! I loaded this up on my cell phone (in an gyn/onc's office, natch) and kept waiting for it to load up all the way...until I got it.

I hope to prove that empty box wrong one day!

  8. i found that QUICKLY getting food/coffee drinks for my resident on L&D reaped great rewards...got me some suturing time in the OR at least! and i still remember the order: 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, bottled dr. pepper, cup full of ice, and "surprise me with the kind of chips, only surprise i get these days". oh, and a small caramel latte.

  11. Well, you have some new readers now. I liked your work over at Grumpy's. I had clicked on your name, to see if you had a blog, but it didn't bring me to this page. I used Grumpy's link to visit. I'm glad to see your doing this.

  13. So tempted to post this to the OB/GYN resident's lounge. But I fear they will find out it was me, tie me down, and do horrific 3rd and 4th degree lac repairs on me w/o anesthetic.
