Join me in NaNoWriMo!

This year, I will once again be participating in National Novel Writing Month. It's this insane contest where you try to write 50,000 words of a really, really bad novel in just one month. And of course, they pick November, which is one of the shorter months.

It's a lot of fun to participate, and the best thing is that in order to "win," all you have to do is write 50,000 words. Last year I wrote 50K and I won! I didn't have to beat anyone or produce anything of quality and I still won! It's so easy!

If you plan to participate, feel free to friend me on the NaNoWriMo site. My username is Fizzy. You can follow my progress in my attempts to make it to 50K.

  1. I "won" last year also but this year I have no idea about a plot yet so probably won't NaNo...but I'll follow your progress! Best of luck

  2. Oh, I participate in NaNo, too! I never win, but maybe that 'quality' business slows me down. I'm too picky to win. :)

It's great fun/agony when you suffer through it with others.

  3. I love nanowrimo. Pretty sure I shouldn't do it this year, since I'm in the first year of medical school, but it's going to be sad having November 1st and 30th roll by without any excitement.

  6. Have fun! I've not done Nano, although I've written and pitched several novels. Except for bloggin, I'm not a speed writer. The one novel I did that way was a mess, practically unfixable.

What is your novel going to be about?

  7. I don't know yet what the novel will be about. Hopefully, I can work that out in the next ten days....

  8. I know what mine will be about, but getting from point A to point Z is still up in the air.
