Week O'Cartoons

Well, I said that if I got over 20 reviews on Amazon, I'd do a full week of cartoons. Being a woman of my word, since I now have 22 reviews, I guess I actually have to do this.

So from Sunday, January 22, through Saturday, January 28, there will be a brand new cartoon posted daily at 9AM.

Thanks to everyone who emailed me ideas. If I end up using your idea, I will give you a shout out, or a link to whatever you asked me to link to. (Last chance for ideas!)

  1. How about something on Step 2 CS? I just lit my credit card on fire registering for that nonsense.

  2. How about a cartoon of the different types of residency applicants!? Or, about interview season in general!

  3. AS an OBGYN, I have seen some beauts. The one situation we see occasionally, is when you ask the womn why she had a caesarean section, and she tells you that the doctor's hand got stuck while they were examining her. Meanwhile, she had a prolapsed cord, and the hand remained firmly in place decompressing the cord until the patient made it to theatre! So mayber a cartoon on interpreting histories from patients?

  4. I really liked your cartoon about the hierarchy of taking seats at the hospital. What about the hierarchy of scrubbing in? As in, you'd better not take less time than your attending to do so.

  5. I'm on my surgery rotation right now (reading blogs is my study break, shh) and i find it funny how my residents keep telling me I'm not there to do scutwork, I'm there to LEARN, but every time i turn around all i end up doing is carrying charts around or being used as a hard surface to write on when my resident cant find a clipboard, or that the only use i have while being scrubbed in is have the senior resident use the back of my shoulder to keep pushing his glasses back on his nose.
