Silverwhale: Lame! Lame!!! Just last week, I was saying "This is the best top 7 evah" and now this happened. He clearly wasn't going to win, so I guess it was inevitable, but I felt this was an unfairly early exit for Colton. At least Hollie should have gone first. But I said all along that Phillip, as the cute scruffy guy with the guitar, was clearly going to win. And now that Colton is out of the way, it's a definite.
Btw, don't worry about spoiling it for me. Even though I don't watch the results, I always look them up immediately.
Love the cartoons. "Escape rope" would definitely have been my former patients' favorite. In fact, I think that's why one of them tried to tear off my shirt one time - she probably thought I had a scrub-top on underneath. Not because she was in a rage about having to take her lithium.
I was hoping Hollie would stay just cause I think the judges pick on her too much. This was like the first week they complimented her. Phillip is my favourite, even with that name haha. He is definitely one of the better looking contestants Idol has had (even when he makes funny faces while he sings). I was surprised Colton went home though. I probably would have put him in the top 3 with Phillip and and Jessica. But maybe that's because I would buy his album over Joshua or Elise's - more my taste.
I thought Colton would last a little longer, but I didn't think he'd make it to the finals. I thought maybe top 4 like James Durbin or Daughtry.
History has revealed that teenage girls elect the winner and they always vote for the cute guy with the guitar: Kris Allen, Lee Dewyze, David Cook. And I think Phillip is better looking than most of those guys, with the exception maybe of Kris Allen. In terms of talent, I don't think he's that great, but when he has the right song, he can really make it work.
Yup, if you go to any of Phillip's videos on youtube, the comments are all girls saying how hot he is lol. Did you like Kris Allen's performance at the results? I thought he sounded ok but the song was pretty boring. And I think Phillip is cuter ;)
I liked Kris a lot on his season of Idol, especially his rendition of Kanye West's Heartless. I feel like the only reason he was on the show at all was because of how he looked, because his first song was terrible. In any case, I think everything he's done since Idol has been awful and I didn't like his song last night. Adam Lambert was a much better performer that season and I like a bunch of his singles.
I remember Simon bashing Kris after the final 2 performances and then apologizing for it at the results the next night haha. Adam has done well since Idol, although that seems to happen a lot now - winning is starting to not mean as much.

This is funny because I am currently wearing a scrub top. I have not had a chance to do laundry in a while (coughthreemonthscough), and the scrub tops allow me to hold on to my last few shirts until I absolutely need them. Or do laundry. Whichever comes first (it won't be laundry).
I wear my scrubs way too often, they are just soooo comfy. I don't sleep in them because they're too expensive, but I do wear them when I study or laze around the house.

I used to wear them in lieu of a t-shirt. It made me just that much more unique in college.
