This reminds me of a conversation I had with my Mom. After seeing a gastroenterologist, she comment that she'd generally been happy with her appointment, but she couldn't understand why he wrote that he wanted to have sex with her.(The instructions said "F/U in clinic")
I really did see a pt's wife get mad one day when she saw on the computer the nurse's note "pt was SOB."
Being an actual SOB being correlated with having SOB... maybe we're onto something here!
Sorry to be Captain Obvious, but this is HILARIOUS. We've all written down stupid things as med students. Ah, I remember once the entire surgical on-call team rushed to A&E cos I said someone had a "rigid abdomen"...
