Ah poor thing. must have been super embarrassing. we have a girl like that in my class. Whenever the professor asks something in lecture, she always responds with some sort of extremely elaborate answer, which is either way more in depth than necessary (we're first years) or wrong. But hey, I give her props. I wish I had that kind of confidence to actually say something when I think I knew the answer. In this case I would have probably said, "Liver?" and looked up at the doc with big, frightened eyes.
Same thing happened to me during 3rd year path exam.I labeled a vertically placed liver as lung !
