I did it! I wrote that book about my intern year!
It's fiction. But it kind of isn't. You know? In any case, if you enjoy reading this blog, I feel certain you'll really enjoy reading it. Here's the blurb:
Newly minted doctor Jane McGill is in hell.
Not literally, of course. But between her drug addict patients, sleepless nights on call, and battling wits with the sadistic yet charming Sexy Surgeon, Jane can’t imagine an afterlife much worse than her first month of medical internship at County Hospital.
And then there’s the devil herself: Jane’s senior resident Dr. Alyssa Morgan. When Alyssa becomes absolutely hell-bent on making her new interns pay tenfold for the deadly sin of incompetence, Jane starts to worry that she may not make it through the year with her soul or her sanity still intact.
Please buy it!
It's available for the Kindle. For now, I've kept it at the low, low price of only $2.99, although that is subject to increase in the future.
Also, you can get it in paperback!
It's short, it's fun, it's deliciously evil, and if you buy it, you'll make me really happy. What other incentive do you need?? :P
If you're not sure, you can read an excerpt.
Nook or ibook?.ReplyDelete
For now, it's Kindle exclusive so that I can do free lending.Delete
I just put the Kindle app on my iPad just so I could download this one book :) Looking forward to reading it. Congrats on getting it published!Delete
I'm so flattered! I hope you like it!Delete
Is that your real name or a pseudonym?ReplyDelete
Must have it! Love your pen name!ReplyDelete
Thanks!! A lot of thought actually went into that name :)Delete
I added it to my wish list on Amazon and should have it soon! Yeah, loved the blurbs so far!ReplyDelete
If I could make a woman happy by spending only $2.99, I would question my own sanity more than I already do if I didn't jump on it (the offer, not the woman). Thank you "Freida"!ReplyDelete
Haha, can't argue with that :)Delete
I am so jealous! Your second book! And I'm still trying to write Chapter 1!ReplyDelete
I read the excerpt and I really liked it. I'm really curious though-- is this based on your experiences with "Jessica"??ReplyDelete
Yes, very much so. You may even recognize some of the stories.Delete
I'm on "page" 60 -- it's been a very pleasant half-hour. I swear I know some of those people. I'm in the Midwest,too. Do I know you?ReplyDelete
She's in the east coast. lolDelete
Even though I have Amazon Prime and could've borrowed it through the lending library, I went ahead and purchased the Kindle version. I've been a long-time lurker of your blog, so based off of that and the excerpt, I'm pretty sure this is something I'll enjoy rereading multiple times.ReplyDelete
Looking forward to the realistic insight to intern year as a hopeful pre-med.
Aw, thanks! I hope it doesn't scare you!Delete
I bought it...it's at home waiting on my Kindle app on my iPad! Good for you...you are obviously a major over-achiever! Reading Twilight AND writing a book! :-)ReplyDelete
Wow, I almost don't want to buy it because I'm so envious of your overall awesomeness.ReplyDelete
(won't be able to help myself though -- have to read it!).

I purchased your book on my Kindle app for iPad, and read it it one sitting. Too hilarious! Great job! I am amped up for the future (pre-med student). All I could think - when I wasn't laughing that is - was: "If she doesn't deck this [several poor choice words], I'll do it."ReplyDelete
On a side note: the insane roommate mentioned in your book, reminds me of my own roommate from a couple of years back. Right down to the passive aggressive notes. The day she accused me of stealing her toilet paper and eating her butter - not exaggerating (she waited until I was released from the hospital - great timing right?), I lost it. Needless to say, we sought different paths, and my blood pressure has been wonderful since.
Bought the paperback edition. Should be here by monday. Can't wait to read it! Been a long time fan of yours! :)ReplyDelete
I've been a long-time fan of your blog Fizzy. I will certainly buy the book and leave a good review. Thanks!ReplyDelete
I want to buy this book so badly. Just waiting for the Indian Rupee to appreciate just a little bit against the US dollar. Even though I think that might not happen anytime soon. :'( :(ReplyDelete
When do you plan to increase the price of the Kindle version of the book? Please do let me know so that I don't end up missing the current discount as well.
I'm not sure but it may be soon.Delete
Thank you Fizzy for the reply.Delete
Will there be a sequel???? I just finished your book and already looking forward to the next one!ReplyDelete
I just read the book and i really hope and wish that theres going to be a second part to it.... fingers crossedReplyDelete
