For the hundredth time, our President is not a dead terrorist. Geez.

My middle child is still convinced that our president is Bahamas. It's almost too cute to correct him.

DeleteAnon@4:16 - Au contraire, your response shows exactly what all is wrong with the world: judgment, assumption, and hasty reaction. As Anon@2:37 also mentioned, it is reasonable that an uninterested/elderly/sick patient would easily confuse names, because Obama/Osama do sound similar (and his name *is* Hussein, as was Saddam's). Incidentally, Barak (the base of which means 'blessed') is also used by several terrorist-associated groups. Again, I don't think it's surprising or judgment worthy that a patient (someone with medical problems in the first place) would mix up names. And that was all I was trying to justify. But if my comment seemed only slightly inflammatory, well, it was; I love interacting with well-spoken, non-judgmental, informed, tolerant and intelligent persons of the liberal persuasion.

I'd still say *you're* an idiot. It isn't a simple misunderstanding, it is a demonstration of both the inability and the unwillingness to discern the simplest details required to face reality. If you are a lucid adult and cannot separate our black president from a dead guy that had a beard and wore a turban, then perhaps you ought not throw stones regarding the depths of others' intelligence. Slightly different spelling is an atrocious excuse. I bet you don't french fry your tomatoes and try to make spaghetti sauce out of your potatoes. Your justifications are bad, and you should feel bad.
